We strive to keep costs low so we can make sure all young people have the chance to learn an instrument. We charged £10 per month as a membership fee which helps to cover insurance, kit maintenance, and running costs. Members will be required to set up a standing order to pay the membership fee after the first 4 weeks.

The short answer is no. We will loan your child a uniform and instrument for them to use during their time with us. From time to time we may request a minimal voluntary contribution, for example if your child will need to purchase food on a longer journey, though this is rare.

The only item that members need to provide for themselves is a pair of smart, black, supportive shoes (school shoes are ideal). Trainers, pumps, crocs, and converse-style footwear is not permitted for parades.

Absolutely. We completely understand that some family arrangements make it difficult to attend every week. We do expect all our members to try and prioritise our events, but again we understand that circumstances might not allow this. We simply ask that members attend as often as they can.
